These shirts are amazing! So stinking soft! I am head over heals for these shirts!
Shalom means... completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb shalom meaning to be complete, perfect and full. When I decided to do a Dressember shirt this word wouldn't leave me. My desire is for Shalom for all people and that is ultimately what dressember fights for with IJM and A21. Half of every shirt purchased goes to fight human trafficking through these organizations.
When you buy this shirt you are giving money to Haitian families, helping the earth because your shirt includes recycled water bottles, you are giving money to scholarships to ministry students and you are fighting human trafficking! I mean how cool! Ethically sourced and in purchasing this shirt you are donating to four different organizations and campaigns that are working to make this world better.
They are a tri-blend including recycled water bottles, organic cotton, and tencel. (Tencel is renewable fiber taken from beech wood in Austria that is stretchy, breathes, and requires less waste and byproduct than rayon or other materials. Fun fact, quite a few eco-friendly baby wipes use tencel as well.)
These shirts are unisex and therefore flowier. If you are worried I would always size up simply because it is my personal preference to have tops more flowy. Again they are on the looser side, however.
